As a scholar, I examine the educational dynamic within religion and the religious dynamic in education.
This means that I do multidisciplinary studies. I have completed qualitative research on local athletes and coaches about faith and spirituality, along with another study into educational leadership and the mission of Catholic schools. My four published books are:
Trained in religious education (RE), I also examine curricular concerns provincially, nationally, and internationally. For instance, in the past, I investigated former RE programs in Alberta and critiqued the use of creation in Catholic RE programs on the continent and beyond.
